This summer I was lucky enough to join a team of documentary filmmakers as they chronicled the story of a group of Marines who were honoring a fallen brother by running 100 miles in a day. I learned so much from working with this amazing group of guys: Joe Murphy, our director who was always willing to offer guidance and who also had no qualms about sprinting across busy highways just to catch the right shot; Jeff Goodman, our intrepid cameraman and co-director who rode his bike the entire 100 miles filming and offering support to the men running; and Trevor Stewart who was not only a 100 Miler but also film editor. And, that doesn’t even touch on all the wonderful people we met along the journey. It truly was a wonderful experience, and I’m so proud of the documentary. Thanks to everyone who made it possible.
